Boku dake ga Inai Machi

Boku dake ga Inai Machi – First Impressions 2016

The first Anime which struck me the most is ‘Boku dake ga Inai Machi,’ also known as ‘Erased.’ The first episode itself proved that this Anime is going to be the hype, Similar to that of Tokyo Ghoul! So if majority of you guys reading this must have watched the episode you know what i am talking about

Struggling manga author Satoru Fujinuma is beset by his fear to express himself. However, he has a supernatural ability of being forced to prevent deaths and catastrophes by being sent back in time before the incident occurred, repeating time until the accident is prevented. One day, he gets involved in an accident that has him framed as a murderer. Desperate to save the victim, he sends himself back in time only to find himself as a grade-schooler one month before fellow classmate Kayo Hinazuki went missing. Satoru now embarks on a new quest: to save Kayo and solve the mystery behind her disappearance.

Boku dake ga inai machi Anime Review

If you read the above synopsis you’ll find that the plot for this Anime is pretty deep. But when you will watch the episode itself, the plot is not only deep but its also a pretty dark and suspense plot!

Read Following Reviews too!

This Anime perfectly shows that normal looking Anime can be this dark without any over exaggerating fights and flashy transformation unlike Tokyo Ghoul and Attack of the Titan. Speaking of supernatural abilities like its mentioned in the synopsis the Main character can be sent back in time before the incident occurred, repeating time until the accident is prevented. But the thing here is that he can’t use that power on his own will.

Another fascinating thing is, at first this Anime will give you a pretty normal or plain feeling then suddenly something drastic happens which will give you the feel of – “Wait, what did just happen?”

Episode 01 itself proves that this Anime has lot of potential! Unless and until animators won’t mess with the original storyline, I have binge read the Manga of ‘Boku dake ga Inai Machi’ and to be honest its brilliant! And i would absolutely love the Anime if the Animators will follow the original storyline of Manga and will not make a mess of it like Akame ga Kill.
