Gintama TV Anime which is currently running right now, will end this month. Yes you heard right thing! That means currently running Anime won’t cover the last arc of the Manga which “Sorachi sensei” is about to start. That means as soon as the Manga will end or will come near to it’s end I guess Anime studio will make new Anime once again to cover the last arc rather than continuing the series.

Gintama TV Anime to end this month
The staff of Gintama Anime confirmed during “Gintama Haru Matsuri 2016” event that currently running Gintama Anime will end this month. The Anime is currently celebrating it’s 10th Anniversary and the cast who were present at the event made following comments.
Sugita Tomokazu (Sakata Gintoki) – “A lot of things are celebrating it’s 10th anniversary, Congratulations to Sengoku Basara for it’s 10th annversary and Cardcaptor Sakura for it’s 20th anniversary and Gintama Anime for 10th anniversary. The first step to the 11th year has already begun.
Sakaguchi Daisuke (Shinpachi) – “I don’t really feel that 10 years have passed, My feelings and mental age haven’t really progressed since the first recording session. I am sure that next 10 years would be the same.
Kugimiya Rie (Kagura) – “I am really happy that I was able to celebrate the 10th anniversary with everyone here. It’s been 10 years I have spent with people I love and all of you, and the roller coaster of emotions that comes from the fraudulent “the series is ending” announcements. Here’s to more Gintama in the future!”
Looking at the following statements given by our favorite voice actors, it’s clear that Gintama TV Anime will return in future and will cover the entire Manga. Although we hope that the day the Anime returns is not too far!
The original anime aired in 2006 which continued till 2013 along with several extended “Hiatus” and then the Anime returned in 2015 which covered “Shogun’s Assassination arc” and is now currently covering “Farewell shinsengumi arc.”
