The Opinion

Another episode of Sousei No Onmyouji proves that the slight difference in the Anime and Manga is not enough to bring down the major plot of the series. Although by looking at these two episodes a one major difference came to light and that is – Manga has balanced the comedy and seriousness, but Anime is focusing more on seriousness. Compared to Manga that Anime has less comedy, the plot of Sousei No Onmyouji is dark but Manga has toned down the darkness and brought it to 50% while Anime has 60-65% of dark feeling i.e 10-15% greater than Manga.

While it doesn’t really affect the Anime but it goes well along with the slight differences done in the Anime. Which gives you the feeling that your watching a new series. The only down point of the Anime is that i seriously didn’t liked the Adashino Benio’s familiar, He is annoying. Most probably they designed him so he can become a mascot character of the Anime but why did they make him like a pokemon?

Wrapping up

With all the changes done to the Anime, its good that the studio is maintaining a safe barrier so the plot is not affected. Also there is one thing i forgot to mention earlier, but the only thing from Manga that has not changed in the Anime is how the story is quick on dealing with major scenes. To be more accurate it doesn’t keeps you waiting forever and gets straight to the point with every new episode.
