Baby Steps Season 3? Baby steps is the most loved sports Anime after Kuroko No Basket and Haikyuu. The Anime is adapted from Manga and the story of the Manga is based on the “Tennis.” While “Prince of Tennis” is one of the most legendary Tennis sports Anime and is everyone’s favourite, but it doesn’t change the fact that the Anime was completely unrealistic and made Tennis some kind of super sport.
Then came Baby steps which is also based on Tennis but unlike Prince of Tennis, Baby steps sticks to more logical and realistic side of Tennis and explains the sport to us right from A to Z. The Manga became everyone’s favourite and then it even inspired two Anime seasons and is one of the longest running Sports Manga with 300+ chapters.
So for all Baby Steps lovers we have some good news for you!
Baby Steps Season 3? Big Announcement on June 1!!
This years 26th issue of Kondansha’s weekly shounen jump magazine announced on Wednesday that Katsuki Hikaru’s Manga series Baby Steps is going to announce something big on June 1. The 26th issue states that the next issue of Kondansha’s weekly shounen jump magazine will have a “Big Announcement!” on baby steps which will be published on June 1.
Diligent and methodical honor student Eiichirou Maruo decides to exercise more during the little free time he has available because he is worried about his health. For this reason, after seeing a flyer, he joins the Southern Tennis Club at the beginning of his freshman year.
During his free trial at the club, he meets Natsu Takasaki, another first year student, who is determined on becoming a professional tennis player due to her love for the sport. In contrast, Eiichirou’s study-oriented life exists because he believes that it is what he has to do, not because he enjoys it. However, his monotonous days come to an end as the more he plays tennis, the more he becomes fascinated by it.
Baby Steps is the story of a boy who makes the most of his hard-working and perfectionist nature to develop his own unique playing style. Little by little, Eiichirou’s skills begin to improve, and he hopes to stand on equal footing with tennis’ best players.

Since Baby Steps Manga has already inspired two Anime seasons, it could be possible that the Manga may get another season. I am writing this article in expectations that the announcement will be regarding season 3 of baby steps, that’s because the Manga has got enough source material so that season 2 can be made. The Manga is also continuing on its regular pace its just that that there are not enough translators to translate the Manga and hence the English translations are coming out late.
As for the raws the raw scans are coming out on regular basis and now there are 380+ chapters of Baby Steps Manga while the current English translation of Baby Steps is somewhere stuck at 280 or 290 or in between these two numbers. So we have 100+ chapters when it comes to available source material for season 3 of baby steps and hence i won’t be surprised if they actually announced the Baby steps season 3 on June 1. Although it doesn’t change the fact that i will go crazy!
