Boku No Hero Academia Anime S1 Review – Exceptional series!!

Boku No Hero Academia Anime The season one of Boku No Hero Academia Anime (My Hero Academia) marked its end last week. The series was one of the exceptional series among all the series that came this year, everyone expected a lot from this series and thankfully it has managed to answer all of the expectations that everyone had. Unlike Sousei No Onmyouji it was not a failure.

The way they paced each and every episode of season one was enough to convince that Boku No Hero Academia Anime will get a new season soon and just before the last episode shueisha officially announced that the season two of Boku No Hero Academia Anime is green lit.

Synopsis

The appearance of “quirks,” newly discovered super powers, has been steadily increasing over the years, with 80 percent of humanity possessing various abilities from manipulation of elements to shapeshifting. This leaves the remainder of the world completely powerless, and Izuku Midoriya is one such individual.

Since he was a child, the ambitious middle schooler has wanted nothing more than to be a hero. Izuku’s unfair fate leaves him admiring heroes and taking notes on them whenever he can. But it seems that his persistence has borne some fruit: Izuku meets the number one hero and his personal idol, All Might. All Might’s quirk is a unique ability that can be inherited, and he has chosen Izuku to be his successor!

Enduring many months of grueling training, Izuku enrolls in UA High, a prestigious high school famous for its excellent hero training program, and this year’s freshmen look especially promising. With his bizarre but talented classmates and the looming threat of a villainous organization, Izuku will soon learn what it really means to be a hero.

Boku No Hero Academia Anime S1 Review

Apparently i have been giving reviews on the episodes of Boku No Hero Academia earlier when the Anime first started. Then i decided to review the complete season one instead of reviewing each and every episode. So friends if you’re interested in reading those reviews you can check out the links given below!

Well if the Animators would not have decided to make another season and ended the Anime on season one then i must have said that the way they ended the Anime on was quite disappointing depending on the episode pacing they gave us. But fortunately that did not happened and thanks to that i can say that the Anime was perfect.

In my earlier reviews on this Anime i was worried about the 13 episodes run time and i guess now i don’t have to worry about it. There are no words to explain how beautifully they adapted the Anime from the Manga, Also they managed to drew out all kinds of emotions from its viewers as the Anime itself was a complete package of overflowing emotions. Thanks to that the Anime took us to feel trip right from episode 1 to episode 13 countless of times.

Many people said that watching Boku No Hero Academia Anime made us feel that we were watching Naruto all over again. I’ll just say this only once – Boku No Hero Academia surpasses Naruto in every terms even the story itself. Naruto was more like a predictable anime on the other hand Boku No Hero Academia story is unpredictable. Well you might say that i am jumping the gun but its not like that this is what i feel.

The season one Boku No Hero Academia Anime was like more of a setup. They gave us a brief introduction on Main character’s Midoriya Izuku’s (Deku) life and a complete tour of Boku No Hero Academia world and since the first season of the Anime follows the Manga very closely we can say that the first season was more like a strong base for the Anime’s further progress as well as story and character development.

Yet the end of the first season of the Anime does a little foreshadowing about the things that are going to happen in the second season. And season one did more than just creating  a strong base, we got to see a bit of character development of Deku and his life at the U. A Hero academy, which introduced some great characters and among them my most favorite is Aizawa Shouta also known by his Hero name Eraser head and guess what he is more favorite than All Might.

I agree that All Might is one of the greatest inspirational character you can ever get from this Anime but i think Eraser head is no less than him.

Action Scenes

Boku No Hero Academia Anime – OP

Overall the season one didn’t have much action, we get fights in first two episodes and them some fight in the middle among which Bakugou vs Deku was one of the best fight and then comes the fight scenes during the end of the season one. When Villains invades the U. A Hero Academy, We see first year kids Deku, Bakugou and others fighting against the evil forces which shows how much these kids have grown.

Not to forget Eraser Head and other heroes which fought during the crises were beast as well, especially Eraser Head and All Might stood out the most those two were literally giving everything they had and that to even beyond 100% which was more then enough for us to give us goosebumps all over. Which also clearly showed us the difference between the rookie heroes and the pro heroes.

It was more like a big slap on the face of rookies which said – “This is the world hero lives in and among them the most fierce is those who reign the top, you still have long way to go..”

Emotions, comedy and romance

As i said Boku No Hero Academia Anime is filled with lots of emotional moments right from episode 1 to episode 13 also some people say that the Anime is potentially a bit funnier than the original Manga. But i personally think well the Anime seems more funny than Manga is because of its an Animated product and not a still image.

Compare the fight scenes of any Anime and Manga its obvious that many times you will feel that fight is much better than what its portrayed in the Manga. Its the same thing with Boku No Hero Academia being more funny than Boku No Hero Academia Manga. There somethings that you can only do in Animation and no where else and that’s the same thing with the fights shown in Boku No Hero Academia Manga.

Regarding romance well there is not much to say anything about that, but i personally thing that Ochaco has feelings for Midoriya, there were few glimpse of that in the Anime. Although in Manga its officially confirmed and i have not read that part yet.

Wrapping up

The first season of Boku No Hero Academia left us wanting for more and soon we got the news that the second season for the Anime is officially confirmed but to be honest its hard to wait for the second season of this Anime but we have no choice but to wait. Anyways tell me what you think about the first season of Anime what did you like what did you not like? it would be great to know your opinion about the Anime.
