Naruto Shippuden prepares for end – Studio focuses on ED and Boruto

On February 15 2007 Naruto shippuden debuted for the first time and 10 years later, the studio is preparing for the final arc featuring Naruto and Hinata wedding the story is adapted from the konoha hiden light novel. After that they are going to focus on Boruto next generation anime, which is set to release in spring.

Naruto Shippuden prepares for end – Details

According to the latest issue of the shounen jump, currently they are preparing to release the final ending theme for the final arc of Naruto shippuden which started with one hour special episode on the night of 15th February 2017. The ending named ‘Zetsu Zetsu’ by Swimy will be the final ending for the series.

The single of the Zetsu Zetsu theme will be released on 22nd February 2017. The band Swimy confirmed officially on twitter that this will be the final ending for the series along with the sneak peak preview of the music video of the ending theme.


Previously i did mentioned that series in scheduled to end on March 09. However from the look at this issue i think that they will probably extend the series till March end and then will immediately transition into Boruto next generation anime that begins in April 2017.

The complete names for the episodes of Konoha Hiden

  • Episode 494-495 (One-hour special) : Part 01 & 02 – Naruto’s wedding
  • Episode 496 : Part 03 – Hot springs and Food Pills (Focuses on Shikamaru & Temari, Sakura & Ino)
  • Episode 497 : Part 04 – Kazekagae’s congratulations (Focuses on Gaara)
  • Episode 498 (Final Episode) : Part 05 – Last Mission (Naruto and Hinata’s wedding ceremony)

Also Boruto manga will finally begin with the new arc with Chapter 10 that is set to release by the end of this month i.e on 27th February 2017. Boruto : The next generation will start with an original story, written by none other than Masashi Kishimoto. He did mentioned that he will start the new Boruto anime with some light episodes, something that kids can enjoy rather than moving directly towards the darker episodes that are going to come in Manga.
